For patients with greater risk of pigmentation changes, it is recommended to avoid sun exposure for a month following each treatment. You will need to wait until the area has returned to its normal skin tone before returning for follow up treatments. Pigmentation changes in the skin can occur when an affected area is treated too aggressively.
