What Happens During Treatment?

ThermiTight® uses radiofrequency-based (RF) energy to deliver heat at precise depths for tightening the skin and stimulating collagen production. The minimally-invasive treatment typically takes 45-minutes to complete. Local anesthesia is used to keep you comfortable throughout. Afterward, you’ll be able to go about all of your normal day-to-day activities in 6 days.

How Many Sessions Do I Need?

ThermiTight® provides superior neck tightening with just one session. If you have excess fat in the neck area, ThermTight can be combined with liposuction at the very same time.

When Can Results Be Seen?

Results are progressive with ThermiTight® treatments. You’ll likely start to see your skin’s initial response to treatment in about 2-weeks. Continued improvement will occur over the course of the next year.

ThermiTight® provides permanent tightness to the treatment area. However, the procedure cannot prevent the natural aging process. Touch-up treatments are safe and effective as needed to maintain lasting results.

What is the Recovery Like After ThermiTight®?

ThermiTight® is a minimally-invasive skin tightening procedure. When used to treat the neck, downtime is limited. We require the use of a compression dressing and sling for 6 days after the procedure. This reduces swelling and bruising to a very minimal. In most cases, you’ll be ready to get back to most of your normal routine the very next week.

Is ThermiTight® Right for Me?

You should consider ThermiTight® if you’re bothered by the appearance of your neck or jawline due to wrinkles or excess skin. If you would also like to reduce under-chin fat you can consider neck liposuction or non-surgical Kybella® treatments. Dr. Dohner will discuss all of your treatment options while meeting with you about your concerns and goals.
