Radiesse can also be used as a biostimulator agent that stimulates Type I collagen, which is the original collagen. Other agents like Sculptra stimulate Type II or III collagen which repairs collagen and is not as good as the original form. Radiesse is mixed with sterile saline to hyperdilute it and then placed into the skin via a cannula. Instead of filling up a wrinkle or thin area, it stimulates your body to thicken the skin on its own. Areas that it treats include the face, neck, décolleté, arms, and knees. Also crepey skin on the abdomen and cellulite on the buttocks respond well to Radiesse Hyperdilute.
